Fibromyalgia Awareness

I was so glad I was able to make it to church on Sunday. I was in some pretty bad pain & used my cane (which hurts my arms-they bother me the most), but I was able to make it through the whole service! The title of the sermon Pastor Rick preached on was "Things Happen". The scripture was Romans 8:28 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. You know when you have Chronic Pain, you wake up some days and think "Why me? I want to be the person I used to be & be able to do more things like the good ol" days". Hearing this sermon, God spoke to me. I feel God is calling me to educate people, start a support group in my community & to just bring awareness to each and every person I can about exactly what Fibromyalgia is and how it affects those of us who suffer from it each & every day of our lives. I believe with everything in me, a cure is close & I keep that HOPE alive every day.

Just little ol' me!!

Hi there! My name is Kristi Luman Lora. This is just a shortened version of my life growing up. I was born in Dallas & raised in Mesquite, Texas. My parents raised my brother and I in the best Christian environment. We had such a happy home life & always ate dinner together every night & took more Family Vacations than you could imagine! I grew up with all the same friends & continued those friendships until High School. When I was a sophmore, I started hanging out with the wrong crowd & went down a very self destructive path. Boy, was I rebellious!! I will get into all that another time.
I have 2 beautiful & handsome sons of my own Taylor, 15 and Devin, 5 and they are my whole world!!! :-)
